If finding the right balance presents challenges, here are some nuggets to help you slay that program. Some struggle with balance, others wonder if it’s possible to even obtain balance. I believe you can take care of your family, nourish them with quality and still go hard after a desired goal; such as starting a business or buying a home.
Four things that you can do to recover from life and become more well-adjusted follows below:
- Learn to say “No.” Be strategic about how you spend your time. If you are good at what you do, you may find yourself in great demand. Saying “no” can give you space to achieve your set goals. You have to trim the fat.
- Communicate with your spouse. You have to consider how your choices and actions affect him. You might also want to look at how they might be beneficial to him. If you need your own personal Nanny McPhee, this may be a conversation to have with your mate.
- Put the things that need your attention into a schedule, be it a phone or day timer. Committing your to do items in a schedule helps you to be more productive.
- Get away from the house. Your landline phone and bed can call you away from the things you should be doing. When you flee to a space where there are no distractions, you can focus and achieve more.
